Beneficiary Services
Blanchfield Army Community Hospital, “Pulse of the Eagle,” is one of the largest and best-equipped hospitals in this area. To meet the healthcare demands of BACH’s patients today, the hospital has 39 operational beds, offers patient-centered medical homes, surgical and other specialty services within the 480,000 square feet building. A total of 40 buildings with more than 1,000,000 square feet accommodate the overall care. The system for health includes Patient and Soldier Centered Medical Homes, specialty care services, women’s health services, nurse cased managed care to wounded, ill and injured Soldiers assigned to the Warrior Transition Battalion and many other services. The caring staff provides a Patient and Family Centered Care atmosphere with 2,000 personnel to medically care for more than 30,000 Soldiers. More than 72,000 Soldiers, Retirees and their Family members are enrolled to BACH services, while more than 92,000 are eligible for care in the Fort Campbell TRICARE service area. Active duty Soldiers receive priority care to maintain their readiness capability.
