Same Day Surgery
BACH offers many surgical services that can be completed within one workday that do not require the patient to stay overnight. All same day surgery procedures are scheduled through the specialty clinics. Any required labs needed prior to your scheduled surgery should be completed 24 hours prior to your procedure during business hours.
Patients should call Same Day Surgery the day prior to surgery, from 2 to 4 p.m. to receive their arrival time for surgery. The staff members in Same Day Surgery are there to facilitate a smooth and safe experience for the patient and their Family members. Your procedure will be verified by the nursing staff, anesthesia staff and the surgeon. You will go into the operating room from your Same Day Surgery Room.

All patients with General Surgery concerns should see their primary care provider for a General Surgery referral. After receiving the referral, the patient will be contacted by referral management or the General Surgery Clinic to schedule an appointment within 3-5 business days. If the clinic directs the referral to a TRICARE network provider, the patient will receive a letter in the mail within 10 business days. If no contact has occurred within that time, contact the primary care provider clinic to verify the status of the referral.
