BACH Partners with Skyline Medical Center
BACH leadership signed a trial training agreement with TriStar Skyline Medical Center November 9, 2022, allowing Maj. Timothy Horrell, a general surgeon with BACH, to work and train along side Skyline employees. This partnership will benefit the Soldier medical providers through experiencing varied medical emergencies our surgeons don't often see at BACH.

MHS GENESIS comes to BACH, June 3, 2023
On June 3, 2023 the Department of Defense’s new electronic health record (EHR), MHS GENESIS, will launch here at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital. MHS GENESIS will replace TRICARE Online at this facility.

New Army policy better enables victims to report sexual assault
A new policy recently implemented by the Army is designed to help remove possible barriers that may prevent Soldiers from reporting sexual assault. Army Directive 2022-10, Safe-to-Report for Victims of Sexual Assault, provides sexual assault victims certain protections from disciplinary action for minor collateral misconduct that may be associated with the sexual assault incident.

inTransition - Connecting, Coaching, Empowering
The Defense Health Agency inTransition program is a free, confidential program that offers specialized coaching and assistance for active-duty service members, National Guard members, reservists, veterans and retirees who need access to mental health care when: relocating to another assignment; returning from deployment; transitioning from active duty to reserve component or reserve component to active duty; preparing to leave military service; any other time they need a new mental health provider or need a provider for the first time.
