TRICARE Formulary Search Tool
Use the
TRICARE Formulary Search Tool to look-up your medication. A search can tell you:
- Formulary status (generic medication, brand-name medication, non-formulary medication, non-covered medication)
- Where the prescription can be filled
- Copayments and limitations, such as prior authorization
- Coverage review requirements and forms
- Alternative medications, including costs
To start your search, you’ll need to put in the brand name or generic name of the medication and then select the strength prescribed, as well as your gender and age. A
TRICARE Formulary Search Tool enables beneficiaries to see what medications are covered as part of the TRICARE pharmacy benefit.
Frequently Asked Questions:
How can my network provider send electronic prescriptions (eRX) to BACH pharmacies?
BACH pharmacy’s eRX address is: DoD Fort Campbell Pharmacy 98 Michigan Av. FT.Campbell, Ky 42223
Patients MUST get a handwritten prescription for controlled medications.
NOTE: eRx are filled upon patient request (see above). Bring a list of all medications you want filled to one of our Pharmacies. It will make your visit faster.
How do I request refills?
BACH Pharmacy asks patients to request refills three (3) business days in advance by telephone at 270-545-5523. If you have trouble reaching the Pharmacy refill line, you may request refills for most prescriptions at BACH pharmacies via MHS GENESIS Patient Portal or at my.mhsgenesis.health.mil. This applies to your existing medications that have remaining refills.
With MHS GENESIS you can:
•See all prescriptions you can refill.
•Select the prescription you want to refill.
•Select where you want to pick up your refill.
•See when your prescriptions are ready for pick up. Refills may be picked up at Town Center Pharmacy.
Other options patients can use to refill their medications include:
1) Visit the pharmacy in person.
2) Call 270-798-4677 and select option #5 for the pharmacy. Patients may then select option #1 to refill a prescription or get the status of a prescription or select option #2 to speak to a pharmacy representative. This option is only available during normal business hours. There is currently no longer an option to leave a voicemail.
3) Q-Anywhere allows you to text via your cellphone to activate the filling of new and renewal medications.
NOTE: When your doctor extends or renews an existing prescription, it is a NEW prescription—even if you have been taking it and there are no changes.
You can activate New or Renewal Prescriptions through Q-Anywhere. Use your cellphone to text the words "Get in line" to 855-803-4165 and follow the prompts. You can save time by scanning the QR code below to start your text message. The Pharmacy will process any NEW or RENEWAL prescriptions received in the last 14 days and send you a text when they are ready for pickup. If you do not receive a text, please note most prescriptions are ready by the next business day after 10 a.m. Filled prescriptions are held for 10 calendar days.
Reminder: Electronic prescriptions (eRX) are not automatically processed when received. The patient must contact the pharmacy in person or via Q-Anywhere to activate the eRX.
For new prescriptions and once a text to “Get in Line,” patients have the option to select whether they prefer to pick-up their prescriptions in-person at the Town Center Pharmacy or through the ScriptCenter, an automated service in the hospital's A Bldg. Lobby beside the Staff Duty Desk. A text notification confirms the prescription activation, and later, a text confirming when the prescription is ready for pick-up. Prescriptions activated before 2 p.m. in ScriptCenter are available the same day. Prescriptions activated after 2 p.m. are ready the following day.
Can I email or call ahead to have my prescription filled in advance?
Patients can activate new non-hard copy prescriptions at least one business day in advance by calling 270-798-4677 and selecting option #5. Patients may then select option #2 to speak to a pharmacy representative. This option is only available during normal business hours. There is currently no longer an option to leave a voicemail. In addition, patients may use Q-Anywhere to activate New or Renewal Prescriptions. Once Q-Anywhere is activated, it is only available at the Town Center Pharmacy. Use your cellphone to text the words "Get in line" to 855-803-4165 and follow the prompts.
What can I do if my medication is lost, stolen or runs out before I can see my provider?
